What is the purpose of this precociously titled blog? Well here's the thing, a lot of articles or ideas that propose to reinvent America are basically thinly-veiled (or completely obvious) attempts at pushing either a Democrat or Republican agenda.
Fear not, that is not the purpose here. Ultimately, people are never going to agree on the hot button issues like abortion, or separation of church and state, or whatever issue the two mainstream parties are using to divert our attention away from serious issues with the way the country is run. While the idea that you can never change anyone's mind is bogus, this blog isn't going to try because it's a lot of effort with very little return.
Getting to the point, the purpose of this blog is to bring to light issues which are lost in the partisan screaming matches that dominate the political landscape today, but are arguably just as important. I hope you'll stick around, share your comments and concerns, and maybe, just maybe, we can encourage change for the better.
